Also, having worked for a newspaper before, originally I began the project with the mindset that there was a limited amount of pages that could have color. More often than not, a reader is attracted to a picture before they read the story, so I tried to choose pictures that I found appealing. Layout was difficult for the 2-page spread because the pictures we were given were so versatile-from detailed shots, to wide shots, that it was hard to choose which pictures would create a sense of consistency and help tell a story.
